Frequently Asked Questions: What Homeowners Want to Know

Smart technology, energy-efficient upgrades, and flexible floor plans consistently rank highest in resale value.

Use high-efficiency HVAC systems, solar panels, and sustainable materials. These are now standard in luxury builds and reduce long-term energy costs.

Built-in shelving, walk-in pantries, and under-stair drawers are excellent options for storage. Prioritize integrated storage in mudrooms, closets, and kitchens.

Plan for tech upgrades, aging-in-place needs (like wider doorways), and EV chargers. Choose flexible layouts that can evolve.

If health and wellness are top priorities, these additions are becoming mainstream in high-end custom homes—and they’re a standout when it’s time to resell.
